Tashita 2 had many changes in its development, mainly to the textures. Originally Stainless added their own version of the Michelin man to the roof of the Tashita 2 which they subtley named “Bitchelin” man but it got them into a bit of legal trouble so they had to replace it with the yin-yang symbol that’s used in the final version of the game.

I think if any version not working for you the easiest solution is remove wrapper (rename) and make a CD - where 1st track is game track (put game files to have DATA folder in root of CD) and next tracks are music. Game will play music from CD inserted in first available drive in system (if you have virtual drives - the real one with CD must be first).

This car was originally orange during the early development stages of the game. The colour was probably changed due to the fact that the Hawk was orange and Die Anna was one of the main characters of the series alongside Max Damage and she needed her own colour scheme so the Propshafter was changed to blue.

In all honesty, is it really that much of a problem playing C1 and C2 without CD audio playback? These soundtracks really get repetitive fast. Even though both games work on my Win10 comp, I just disable it altogether and let background music play from Winamp or Youtube.


I was also getting no music when running the Win95 RPP for the first game. I really hope both games will work properly on Win10 someday.

There are no traces of the map in any of the available versions of Carmageddon II, this includes: alpha, all beta/demo versions and the final version. The map does, however exist in the elusive ‘indev’ version of the game that Errol possesses.

I like both soundtracks and don't really mind them getting repetitive. Obviously, I could play my own music in the background, but I normally prefer listening to the game's own audio.

As good as the carnage may be, Carmageddon (https://kislovoadmin.ru/hack/?patch=1094) 2 has the same problem as its prequel, and it’s one that’s shared with almost every racing game on the market. It all gets a bit pointless and repetitive without some sort of interesting wrapper. The missions were obviously an attempt at adding some variety to the game, but they fail miserably at that, and are just an obstacle standing in way of the carnage. But even that starts to wear thin after awhile. After more than 30 races of eviscerating pedestrians and ramming your opponents, it might be nice to have more clever missions objectives, or something beyond the usual “upgrade armor/engine” rut every racing game is stuck in.
